Paid Surveys
I could write a book about my personal experiences with Paid Surveys but I’ll make it short and sweet and hopefully you will take my advice here. I know that some people make money with these and most get “rewarded” with points that are redeemable for prizes. The problem is that in order to get paid or to get prizes, you are required to join “free trials” so you have to cough up your credit card info to continue.
From experience, signing up for free trials is not something you should be doing. Most of these survey companies claim to be free and include all sorts of things by signing up but if you don’t cancel these “free trials”, you will be charged after the trial period ends. I personally think this is kind of deceptive. They tell you that you need to sign up and that it is indeed a trial BUT, they do it this way knowing that many will not cancel in the trial and therefore will be liable for the membership that you signed up for.
It’s pretty schemeful. I recommend that you give it a shot for yourself but don’t pay to be part of a survey. You will soon find out that you are encouraged to join this survey and that survey and before you know it, you will be receiving hundreds of emails each day for surveys. Most of them have time limits on their availabilities and you may miss out on potential money or prizes because you didn’t take action quicker than the next guy in line.
Overall, this is not an opportunity that I recommend.
