This is a good case in point where making money online is not as easy as they claim. There is no doubt that many people have made millions doing these online auctions so I won’t dispute that. The problem is that just like any other money making scheme, there are people out there claiming to know all the keys to success with eBay and online auctions, buying and selling goods, etc. and most of them are simply crap.

Even if the “legitimate” ones that actually DID make millions doing this are offering information for free to teach you, their techniques are not current or up to date and they are now making their millions by suckering people into their scams with useless ebooks and information. Just like in “no money down” real estate purchases, you MUST be using current methods that are taught by people CURRENTLY making money, not that USED TO make money doing it.

The market changes and the competition grows. I’ve only sold a few things on eBay personally and that experience alone was enough for me to determine that doing this for a living would not be for me. I believe that people do and can make money with online auctions but it takes working smart, not hard and to work smart, you need to know what you’re doing. Trusting these “gurus” that offer Ebay Success Kits or anything similar is a risky business.
