This kind of marketing is ESSENTIAL and is the wave of the future for internet marketers. Any internet marketer knows that if you try and sell to everyone, you end up selling to no one. Thanks to the internet, one can actively and aggressively put all their effort marketing to ONLY THOSE THAT are clearly interested in your product/service. Never before could this be done so easily and so inexpensively.

A “niche” is a specific group of people that share a common interest or hobby. There are literally millions of them out there. These “niches” all read the same magazines, watch the same television programs, respond to the same ads, and typically “hang out” together. So, if one focuses on this particular niche and designs ads ONLY for those people, your chance of success goes through the roof.

You also need to “tighten” the niche for further success. In other words, instead of targeting “hunters” for instance, if you target more specific like “deer hunters”, you will have more success.
