Maternity Card is a licensed national health care company registered as a Provider Access Organization. In a nutshell, they work with regional medical organizations and PPO’s  for reducing maternity costs for expectant mothers that normally would incur otherwise.

It used to be that only the large insurance companies offered benefits but Maternity Card changed that. Understand that being a member of MC does not mean that you have a card that will provide discounts. They offer assistance by way of negotiating through their contracts with these PPO’s. They offer these services even if the doctor or hospital you use is NOT a PPO network provider of the MC membership.

So, if you are a soon to be mother and need/want assistance with your maternity health care, a smart choice would be to become a member of Maternity Card.
