Lisa Sorenson
Lisa Sorenson is the owner/operator of MaxAffiliates.com. I have quite a unique experience with Lisa so pay attention and draw your own conclusion here. I give my web visitors the ability to ask for a review request of someone or something that I have not reviewed yet. I was propositioned to do a review on Lisa by someone so I started investigating.
In midst of this investigation, this person that asked me to do the review sent me emails that she had with Lisa regarding her services at MaxAffiliates.com. Rita had purchased a membership from Lisa's site and the emails explain her horrible experience from the date of purchase. In short, Rita never received her information that she paid for and after months of attempting to rectify this, Rita received an email notifying her of Lisa's illnesses and that these illnesses have made her bed ridden and unable to run her business.
They further explained that they did NOT have the funds to reimburse Rita at that particular time and basically admitted that they were broke and needed to transfer funds when possible in order to pay Rita her refund. Sounds hokey to me right?
MY experience after this investigation is as follows....
I called Lisa at the phone number provided at her website. She happens to be here in Oregon, just like me so that was nice. A gentleman answered the phone. It was her husband. I explained to him that I run this site and wanted to speak to Lisa regarding this investigation. He told me that Lisa would phone within 24 hours. She didn't so I called back 3 days later, spoke to the same gentleman, and he told me that Lisa was ill and would call me back when she was able to.
I have now been waiting approximately 2 months and have not received a phone call regarding this matter. That really rubs me wrong for 2 reasons. If she was ill, I can respect that but unless the illness took her voice from her, you would think that she would phone me and defend herself. I would think so at least.
The other thing that bothers me is that they apparently use this "illness" excuse to push off things. I'm not saying that she ISN'T ill and I'm not being disrespectful but if you run a business and can't operate it better than what she has obviously been able to do, you NEED to get out of business quickly to avoid these exact same problems.
So in short, I wouldn't do business with Lisa or anything that she is affiliated with because after reading the emails that Rita received about her problem and my experience with Lisa by phone and her inability to return phone calls, I'd say you're asking for foul play. Until I speak with Lisa personally, I can only say that I respect her motivation to have an online business, I am not impressed with her public relations methods and/or her customer service.
