Don LaPre
Don Lapre has dominated the info-mercial industry for a long time. "In his 1 bedroom apartment, he started placing tiny ads in hundreds of newspaper and....". Sound familiar? He was the best looking in the bunch for sure. The boy next door, kinda GQ look he had earned him brownie points.
His techniques were great in the 80's and early 90's but he hasn't offered anything new or exciting since then. His technique in placing ads goes against almost any and all successful marketing ploys today. In the early 90's, I purchased his money making package and got bombarded with phone calls wanting me to join in on his 900 #'s for low cost of thousands of dollars. I declined and continued to get calls periodically and never really tested out his method because his "people" rubbed me wrong.
The US government actually called on Don to assist them and they stand behind him and his teachings but I don't recommend that you get involved with anything that Don is associated with.
